Are there overwater bungalows in Belize?

Yes. Lina Point on Ambergris Caye, in San Pedro, is an overwater resort. The cabanas sit on the water with glass-floor panels and private decks. Travelers also call them overwater bungalows, over-the-water bungalows, or huts over the water. The rooms page lists each cabana, suite, and the beachfront villa.

What is included in the room rate at Lina Point?

All rooms include daily breakfast, complimentary kayaks, snorkel equipment, free WiFi, and access to the overwater infinity pool. Overwater cabanas also include glass-bottom floors and private sun decks.

How do I get to Lina Point from the airport?

From Belize City International (BZE), take a domestic flight of about 15 minutes to San Pedro Airport (SPR), or a scheduled water taxi to the San Pedro terminal. The transfer from the San Pedro water taxi terminal or the San Pedro airstrip to Lina Point is complimentary. Share your arrival details in advance.

What is the minimum stay at Lina Point?

Our 2BR cabana was designed with families in mind:

Largest private deck at the resort — room for everyone to spread out

Glass floor panels — kids will spend hours watching fish, rays, and starfish

Private pool — shallow enough for supervised play, deep enough for parents to relax
